Please fill out the following by May 18th (that gives you a week). If you haven't filled it in by then I will email you, if I do not get a response from you by the time art drafts are due you will be defaulted on your assignment and it will be given to a pinch hitter.

| All stories have been claimed and all emails have been sent out! Artists please make sure to check your inboxes for your authors contact information, authors please feel free to contact your artists if they haven't gotten in contact with you already.
Now, because the schedule was extended for authors it meant artists lost out on some time - so the schedule for the final due date and posting is going to be pushed back to give artists more time!

As far as the artist checkpoint goes it is mandatory for all artists but PLEASE do not worry too much about it. No art needs to be done or turned in at this time. It will just be a post here that asks for some information to check that contact between artist and author has been established and to get an idea of everyone will be able to finish in time or not. The checkpoint as you can see will be open for a full week, then I will try to contact any artists who did not check in. Only if I don't receive any response back will pinch hitters be assigned.
I really hope this gives artists a bit of breathing room! Good luck to everyone working on their art and fic and if you need anything please feel free to contact me! | |

| Right now I only have 7 rough drafts turned in and am waiting on a few more but still, it's a lot less then expected.
So I wanted to check with everyone who signed up and see if there is anyone else who could turn in a rough draft if there was say a week extension (due April 25th, preview on the 26th and claims moved to the 27th). Please let me know, if there is interest I can definitely extend the challenge. | |

| Rough drafts are due April 17th give or take a day. To turn in your rough draft please follow these instructions.
If you think you're going to be a little late please let us know as soon as possible since claims go up for preview on April 19th.
Ideally your rough draft needs to be more than 15,000 words and completed, however since these are rough drafts at least turn in 10,000 words with more than 80% of the fic done. I've accepted less in the past rounds and will only do so again if the author is ABSOLUTELY sure they will finish the story and they can given the artist enough to work with.

PLEASE KEEP THE CODING IN YOUR EMAIL!, we copy and paste this part into the claims and its really a pain to have to redo all the coding. The only things that will be taken out is the LJ username, percent complete, and current word count.
Pay special attention to the summary because that is what artists will be using to claim a story so make sure to spell-check it and be aware of the length (a sentence or two won't be enough for an artist to make a claim but claims are first come first served and an artist might overlook a huge block of text)
Then add your fic as an attachment, we would prefer it if you had it as an .doc but we can take .docx and .rtf
